Safeguarding for Childminders – Course Summary

• Recognising and responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
• Following current safeguarding procedures and reporting concerns promptly.
• Maintaining accurate, confidential records.
• Understanding when and how information should be shared.
• Keeping up to date with safeguarding requirements within the EYFS framework. 
• Applying relevant safeguarding updates and principles from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), including effective information sharing, early intervention, and professional curiosity. [gov.uk]
• Providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for children.
