Intensive Interaction (for parents)
An Introduction to
Intensive Interaction
for Parents
Intensive Interaction is an approach that teaches those at an early stage of development the 'Fundamentals of Communication' - such as reading and using eye contacts and facial expressions, enjoying being with another person, the back-and-forth nature of conversations, etc.
This free training will give you an introduction to Intensive Interaction techniques and how it can be used to support children who struggle with their social communication and who may or may not have a diagnosis of autism. We have been using Intensive Interaction in the Bedford Nursery Schools Federation for a few years now, with some very powerful results.
Suzie Hoefkens has completed the Intensive Interaction Coordinator course with the Intensive Interaction Institute, allowing her to deliver training in Bedford Borough.
